GbLA Landscape Architects have assisted Newland Developers and the City of Greater Geelong to transform over 4km of decommissioned roadways into a highly valued social and environmental asset for the Armstrong Creek community.  What was previously a series degraded roads with poor ecological value is now an important biodiversity link.  The Greenways enhance the character of the local area, fostering connections to place and engagement with the environment, whilst also promoting healthy lifestyles.

This project has merged, connected and extended habitat and biodiversity values of adjoining and associated open space areas through careful and meticulous site preparation and planning.  GbLA Landscape Architects have provided planning, design and contract administration services to help realise the transformation of these spaces.
